How To Use Guide
Which Installation Method Should I Use?
You can install this car seat using either the seat belt, the LATCH system, or the lower anchor system. All options are equally safe. Remember to use only one method at a time for installation.
What is Latch?
LATCH includes lower anchors and a tether anchor built into your vehicle, along with lower anchor attachments and a tether built into your seat. The lower anchor attachments replace the vehicle’s seat belt to secure the car seat. The tether is used along with the lower anchor attachments or the seat belt to secure a forward-facing car seat to your vehicle.
Harness Height and Buckle Position Guide
Harness Height, Rear-Facing:
Make sure the harness straps are at or just below your child’s shoulders. The top of the child’s head should be 1 inch (2.5 cm) below the headrest adjustment lever.
Harness Height, Forward-Facing:
The harness straps should be at or just above your child’s shoulders. The top of their ears should be below the top of the headrest.
Buckle Position:
Choose the slot closest to your child without it being under them.
Harness Tightness:
If your fingers slide off the harness without pinching it, it’s tight enough.
Use the tether strap when using forward-facing (A). When used properly, the teather helps reduce injury in a sudden stop or crash.

Buying Guide
When choosing a convertible car seat for your child, here’s what you need to know:
Convertible Design: Look for a car seat that changes from rear-facing for infants to forward-facing for toddlers, and then to a highback booster for older children. This feature allows you to use it for many years as your child grows.
Safety Features: Ensure the car seat meets strict safety standards and has a strong build to protect your child during rides.
Ease of Installation: Choose a car seat that is easy to install using either the seat belt or the LATCH system. Follow the instructions carefully to secure it properly.
Comfort: A good car seat should have multiple recline positions and features like rotating cup holders to keep your child comfortable on long trips. The harness system should also be easy to adjust as your child grows.
Space-Saving Design: Consider a model designed to be slimmer than others, which helps create extra space in your back seat for other passengers or items.
Age and Weight Limit: Check the seat’s specifications to ensure it is suitable for children from 5 to 65 pounds. Always confirm that your child fits within these limits before using the car seat.
Cleanability: Look for a car seat with a removable and machine-washable cover to keep it clean from spills and messes.
